I was impressed with the free version that allowed 2 conversions at a time, so I felt like supporting this company and buy the pro version. Does what it’s supposed to do.

Tolle App,macht genau das,was erwartet wird.
Fast and easy to use. Excellent app and worth the price.
Tolle App - macht genau das, was es soll.
worked like a charm! i converted over 2000 files without a single issue.
Never had any problem with this app, it is quick, simple, and super efficient.
Not only does it do a great job, but it’s really fast in converting to flac. Converts 15 songs in only a few seconds!
It works well. Easy to use interface with everything out in the open no searching in menus. I love the feature to send directly to iTunes. I use it to convert full albums and it is quick without any issues.
My Mac as 4 cores and it finished the job converting my ALAC library to mp3 so quickly directly to the SD card for my car’s Jukebox system. Imagine if I had 8 cores? (next year) No issues, and I can drop a whole folder of files in the window and BAM, it’s done!! Just what I’ve been looking for! Oh, and the power users features are great!
It is very simple in use, intuitive interface. Good results that can be achieved very fast.
Works as advertised and is quite simple to use. It has handled some quirky file formats for me, and is simply a utility that should be build into the OS.
easy and fast
I tried the lite version and thought it was ridiculous that it was limited to two tracks at a time. I bought the Pro version to be able to import entire CDs, but I didn’t anticipate that a single CD (73 minutes of music) would take nearly TWO HOURS to import as AIFFs! Plus, I doesn’t let me rename the tracks prior to importing them (or if it does, I couldn’t figure out how), so I have to go back and rename them all. I’ve reach out to Audio Converter Pro Support to see if they can offer some guidance. If they can help me speed up this app, or show me what I’m missing, I’ll add one or two more stars. For now, I’m less impressed with this as I thought I would be. UPDATE: Version 1.60 is MUCH faster for me than version 1.56. Im also using this latest version to convert exisiting files rather than import them directly from a CD. Converting 16 FLAC files to AIFF took only about a minute! Very impressive. I’m still giving this app only four stars because nearly two months after my inquiry, the developer still hasnt responded to my email about my slow CD import experience. The app also still didn’t import any of the metadata for converted tracks, requiring me to spend extra time filling in basic information like album and artist names as well as track and disc numbers. In my original review, I’d said that the app failed to "Send to iTunes" even though I’d configured it to do so. Turns out it did import the tracks into iTunes, but because it failed to import the album name or artists for those tracks, I didn’t see where they’d been added to the iTunes library. The app does actually work, but these inconveniences and the poor customer service are disappointing for a paid app.
Its a simple program that does exactly what it says. I didn’t like that it does not take advantage of the processor multicore efficiently, but it still converted my audio files quickly, so on that grounds I have no complains. It worked for the three formats I use, so for me this is great.
Got it right from download put some files in and it works very very very fast. Very happy!
Saves me from having to use the rather haphazard MP3 conversion of some of the recording software I like to use. I can just send them out as a lossless file and convert them to whatever I need. Haven’t had an issue yet and I’ve been using it for a good number of months now. Very happy with my purchase. Just for how simple and reliable the software is, I feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth.
Very easy and intuitive. I haven’t tried video conversion…just audio. Still a great application.
This is exactly what I was looking for: easy to use, straight to the convertion I need and without thousands of buttons and menus that use to spend our time for absolutely nothing. Love it!
For the less tech-savvy, this app is very user-friendly. The default settings are perfectly fine for the casual user. Just drag and drop files, pick the format you want to convert to, click convert, and voila! It’s nice and quick. I also like the wide array of formats that are available, as well as the adjustable bitrate settings. Have been transferring a library of approximately 800 GB of .WMA files over to .MP3 and .M4A Very satisfied, and would highly recommend this app to anyone doing the same.
When I convert AC3 files to AIFF or WAV the files are not the exact same length as the originals. Usually there is about a one second difference in a file that is 10 minutes long. If you’re trying to sync the audio to a video, this causes a considerable amount of extra work.
